Introductory Flights

Ready to stop dreaming about flying and experience the thrill of open air flying?  An introductory flight with a certified flight instructor is the best way to go! You will quickly see how exciting it is to be high above with just the wind in your face and a wide open view.

After a pre-flight briefing, we will go to the grass area of the airport to lay out the wing (the parachute) and get you buckled into the backseat. Next, you will hear the pilot do a quick check of the instruments, scan for other aircraft, and prepare for take off. When you say your ready, the pilot will advance the throttle and the cart will begin to roll forward. You can watch as the wing comes up, inflates, and in just seconds you are off the ground!

We will lazily make our way to the Arkansas river while flying over Camp Robinson and Burns Park. Looking down below, you will see lots of people waving, smiling, and looking up in awe as we slowly fly over them. View the Little Rock skyline like you have never seen before. You may even catch a glimpse of the Arkansas Queen riverboat paddling downstream or see huge flocks of deer grazing in open fields. We will skim blades of grass within inches, then soar to heights where cars look like toys. This is flying at its best!

Flight times are early morning and late afternoon when thermals and winds have calmed. This provides spectacular sunset/sunrise viewing!

If weather becomes an issue, such as thunderstorms or wind, we will re-schedule your flight.

30-40 minute flights (depending on wind conditions) are 100.00 and due prior to flight.

A waiver is required prior to flying and can be downloaded here.

What to bring with you:

  • Wear comfortable clothing that is fairly warm for early spring and late summer. Days may be warm, but as the sun sets and the air cools, it can get quite chilly without the appropriate attire.
  • Completed waiver
  • Flight fee
  • Don’t forget your camera!
